Creating new label formats in Act! can be challenging. The spacing between labels and the top & bottom margins don’t always line up on the printed page the way you expect. Sometimes the labels seem to creep down the page; other times the second column seems to start a little too far to the left cutting off part of the label. Ok, so this doesn’t really apply to small business. However it does apply to small CPA firms!
PPC Thomson Reuters has a product called ETools which basically uses Excel and Word to help maintain engagements by providing a large number of worksheets and documents ready to use. They also have a well thought out set of tickmarks available to use in these or your own documents. The tickmarks are used in a toolbar for each office program.
