Most people believe a CPA is only to help with financial planning. However, we also help manage risk. You have risks you probably haven’t though about. Even if you aren’t self employed, have you thought about what happens if you or your spouse suddenly becomes deceased? Ok, so the answer is yes, you have a will. For years now a great vehicle for starting a small business was the S-Corporation. Losses can be passed through to the owner during the startup years.
